Commissioning-led electrical engineering
You are delivering a complex power project through many contractors. Aldora is the commissioning-led engineering partner that works across their interfaces on your behalf — from design through commissioning to safe, compliant energisation, supported by specialist electrical engineering and cable systems.

The problem we own
Every contractor proves its own scope. Who proves the integrated system?
Your project is delivered through separate EPC, OEM and specialist packages. Each contractor tests its own scope against its own contract. Energisation is where those systems meet — and where the gaps between them surface, late, when they are most expensive to close.
We work across those interfaces on your behalf, so design, protection, control, grid compliance, contractor testing and commissioning evidence converge before the asset is energised. You keep the decision; we make sure it is an informed one.

What we do
Commissioning-led, with the engineering and the cable systems that decide whether an asset energises on programme.
Prove the integrated system is ready.
Commissioning strategy, interface management, readiness assurance, contractor testing oversight and energisation coordination across package boundaries.
Commissioning & CERTAINEngineering decisions that survive commissioning.
Owner’s engineering, FEED, design review, power systems, protection, grid compliance and commissionability input from early design through delivery.
Electrical EngineeringEngineer the cable system, not just the parts.
MV/HV cable, conductors, OPGW, joints, terminations and specialist accessories selected and supplied as a coordinated system.
Cable SystemsHow it works
The asset, the voltage level, the packages and the target energisation date. A conversation with an engineer, not a form.
A written readiness position against the energisation gate, and a prioritised list of what has to be true before you cross it.
Interfaces coordinated, testing witnessed, evidence assembled. You make the call with the whole picture in front of you.
Get it wrong and the gaps surface at energisation — rework, retesting and programme disruption when the project can least absorb it. Get it right and the asset goes into service safely, on programme, with the compliance evidence already in hand.
Project evidence
What changed because Aldora was engaged — not simply how many megawatts were on the drawing.
Commissioning judgement under programme pressure.
A feeder tripped during witnessed hold-point testing on a large-scale battery system. It looked like a settings problem. The waveforms said otherwise, so further testing was stopped while the cause was traced — a wiring defect in the protection CT secondary wiring that a settings change would have masked. Delivered ahead of programme regardless.
Read the case296 MW solar and 180 MW / 360 MWh of storage, many contractors.
Brought in as owner-side commissioning integration manager to recover a slipped programme. Sequenced hold points across the EPCs and OEMs, held the control-centre and market-operator interfaces, and paused energisation wherever the risk was not acceptable. Back to the planned first-export milestone.
Read the caseA switchboard upgrade with the turbines still running.
Four 33 kV switchboards replaced and commissioned across three live open-cycle gas turbine systems, ahead of a battery integration on the same site. Hold-point regime across the packages, interfaces to the operating plant, readiness assured before each staged switchover — grid capacity restored ahead of programme.

Our commissioning methodology
Aldora’s structured commissioning methodology, from early planning through energisation and handover. Every contractor proves its scope; CERTAIN brings the evidence together to determine whether the integrated system is ready.
“Commissioned with certainty.” Every contractor proves their scope. CERTAIN proves the system is ready.
A staged path to energisation.
Issues caught on paper.
Ready means proven ready.
Quality proven, not assumed.
A controlled, confident energisation.
Demonstrated to full commercial output.
A clean, documented handover.

Walk through the seven stages And the MATCHED Method, for cable systems
Cable. Accessories. Workmanship. Engineered as one system.
MV/HV cable, overhead conductors and OPGW carry the Aldora name, manufactured to our specification. Joints, terminations and specialist accessories come from the European manufacturers we represent. We engineer the interfaces between them — cable to accessory, accessory to installation condition, installation to workmanship — and support the crews who install them.
The MATCHED cable-system process is how we do that: map the system, assess and select, established manufacturers, confirm compliance, hold the fit gate, equip the crews, deliver the system. One short discipline applied to every order, so what is specified is what arrives.

About us
Aldora is a commissioning-led electrical specialist for renewable energy, BESS and critical power infrastructure — a Western Australian company working across Australia.
We hold commissioning roles from 275 kV down to 6.6 kV, have commissioning-managed 866 MW of wind and solar and 325 MW / 755 MWh of battery storage, and have contributed over 1,500 MW of FEED, concept and grid-connection studies.
Led by recognised specialists — including a 2025 and 2026 Engineers Australia Professional Engineer of the Year nominee (Western Australia) — our chartered team approaches every development with one objective: a safe, predictable and compliant energisation.
